A strange little side quest
Kill Time in your Office belongs to a much longer story of play than a browser tab might suggest. A major archery competition held at Finsbury in England in 1583 drew about 3,000 participants. The surprising part is how quickly the next milestone followed. Spacewar! appeared on MIT's PDP-1 in 1962 and became one of the earliest influential computer games shared among programmers. That is the kind of background detail that makes another attempt at Kill Time in your Office feel a bit more connected to the history of play.
