A strange little side quest
There is a neat bit of history hiding behind the kind of play you find in Kids Mahjong Html5. Alexey Pajitnov created Tetris in 1984 after drawing inspiration from pentomino puzzles, then simplified the idea around shapes made from four squares. The broader history adds one more wrinkle. Reader Rabbit's 1986 arrival was part of a major expansion of educational computer software before the CD-ROM boom of the 1990s. That gives Kids Mahjong Html5 a little more company than it first appears to have.
