A strange little side quest
The mechanics around Jurassic Run have roots that stretch far beyond modern browsers. Paleontologists can learn about ancient animals from much more than complete skeletons: fossilized plants, insects, tracks and other remains all add pieces to the story. Another piece of context lands nicely beside it: Midway's Gun Fight from 1975 was the first arcade video game to use a microprocessor. That is the kind of background detail that makes another attempt at Jurassic Run feel a bit more connected to the history of play.
