The rules may be simple on screen, but the backstory around Junior School Run is anything but tiny. A major archery competition held at Finsbury in England in 1583 drew about 3,000 participants. That is only half the story. Reader Rabbit's 1986 arrival was part of a major expansion of educational computer software before the CD-ROM boom of the 1990s. That history is one reason familiar mechanics can still feel new when they are recombined well.
