A strange little side quest
The next time Interior Designer asks for one more try, remember that game ideas rarely appear from nowhere. Our solar system formed about 4.6 billion years ago from a cloud of gas and dust collapsing under gravity. There is another connection worth keeping in the same mental pocket: M.U.L.E. arrived in 1983 with multiplayer competition built around gathering resources and keeping a colony alive, an early example of resource-driven strategy play. That is the kind of background detail that makes another attempt at Interior Designer feel a bit more connected to the history of play.
