A strange little side quest
Huggy Wuggy Poppy Escape: 50 Rooms belongs to a much longer story of play than a browser tab might suggest. Early computer role-playing games helped turn rules, inventories, exploration and character progression into systems that could support long-form digital adventures. It also connects to a different milestone: Spacewar! appeared on MIT's PDP-1 in 1962 and became one of the earliest influential computer games shared among programmers. The screen is modern; the urge to test skill, pattern and timing definitely is not.
