A strange little side quest
Zoom out from Head Ball for a moment and the timeline gets surprisingly deep. Archery was already on the Olympic programme in 1900, boxing joined the modern Games in 1904, and basketball became a medal sport in 1936. The same trail leads to another fact: Computer Space reached arcades in 1971 and became one of the earliest commercial electronic arcade games, even though its controls proved demanding for many players. That gives Head Ball a little more company than it first appears to have.
