A strange little side quest
Before the next round of Extreme Jumping Car, here is a piece of the bigger picture. Formula 1 introduced pit-lane speed limits during the 1994 season as safety concerns grew around increasingly fast cars and busier pit lanes. There is another connection worth keeping in the same mental pocket: Pong was field-tested in California bars in 1972 and helped launch the modern arcade-game era. That gives Extreme Jumping Car a little more company than it first appears to have.
