A strange little side quest
Draw Play has plenty of company in a long tradition of players chasing timing, patterns and better decisions. Chess changed dramatically in Europe during the 15th and 16th centuries when the queen became the board's most powerful piece. That is only half the story. Nintendo's Donkey Kong arrived in 1981 and introduced the character first known as Jumpman, who later became Mario. So a round of Draw Play is not just a quick distraction; it is a tiny stop on a much longer strategy games timeline.
