A strange little side quest
The fun part of looking behind Decor: My Shop is seeing how many older ideas are still alive in modern play. M.U.L.E. arrived in 1983 with multiplayer competition built around gathering resources and keeping a colony alive, an early example of resource-driven strategy play. The broader history adds one more wrinkle. In 18th-century America, upper-class men as well as women wore make-up, a reminder that beauty customs have never been as fixed as they can seem. Not bad for a few facts hiding behind a Play button.
