A strange little side quest
The rules may be simple on screen, but the backstory around D.Copter Reloaded is anything but tiny. The Oregon Trail mixed travel, supplies, risk and survival decisions decades before resource-management systems became common in mainstream games. Another piece of context lands nicely beside it: Space Invaders arrived in 1978 and helped turn electronic games from an arcade curiosity into mainstream entertainment. That is the kind of background detail that makes another attempt at D.Copter Reloaded feel a bit more connected to the history of play.
