The next time Cubic Cars Highway asks for one more try, remember that game ideas rarely appear from nowhere. Silverstone hosted the first Formula 1 World Championship round on May 13, 1950. A second detail makes the picture even better: Computer Space reached arcades in 1971 and became one of the earliest commercial electronic arcade games, even though its controls proved demanding for many players. That gives Cubic Cars Highway a little more company than it first appears to have.
