A strange little side quest
The next time Cooking City Tycoon asks for one more try, remember that game ideas rarely appear from nowhere. Tomatoes helped turn Naples' flatbreads into the food we recognize as pizza, which had become an important food for poorer Neapolitans by the 18th century. That is only half the story. M.U.L.E. arrived in 1983 with multiplayer competition built around gathering resources and keeping a colony alive, an early example of resource-driven strategy play. That is the kind of background detail that makes another attempt at Cooking City Tycoon feel a bit more connected to the history of play.
