Clean The Planet

GROMBI FACT DROPREAL-WORLD TRIVIA

A strange little side quest

Clean The Planet may feel immediate, but the ideas around space have been evolving for a very long time. The Moon orbits Earth at an average distance of about 385,000 kilometres, and surface gravity there is roughly one-sixth as strong as Earth's. The broader history adds one more wrinkle. SimCity grew out of Will Wright's enjoyment of the map editor he had built for an earlier game; the act of shaping a city became the game itself. That is the kind of background detail that makes another attempt at Clean The Planet feel a bit more connected to the history of play.

GAME BRIEFMANAGEMENT & SIMULATION

What you are getting into

Your island is buried in trash and the little slobs dropping it are not going to stop. Drag your cursor to vacuum the mess into the bin and get paid per piece, then spend it on a wider radius, stronger suction and a bigger bin. The twist: cleaning pays, so you hire more slobs to make more mess. Four islands to work through, each filthier and richer than the last - but moving on wipes everything you built.
