A strange little side quest
Before the next round of Circus Shooter, here is a piece of the bigger picture. Archery first appeared at the Olympic Games in 1900 and returned permanently to the programme in 1972 after a long absence. Another piece of context lands nicely beside it: Space Invaders arrived in 1978 and helped turn electronic games from an arcade curiosity into mainstream entertainment. That long chain of experiments is part of why archery still feels fresh when a game finds the right twist.
