A strange little side quest
Cat Wars Flash belongs to a much longer story of play than a browser tab might suggest. Boxing was part of the ancient Olympic Games by 688 BC, long before gloves, weight classes, or timed rounds existed in anything like their modern form. A second detail makes the picture even better: Midway's Gun Fight from 1975 was the first arcade video game to use a microprocessor. That long chain of experiments is part of why combat sports still feels fresh when a game finds the right twist.
