A strange little side quest
Here is a rabbit hole for the next loading screen in Cat vs Unicorn: The word 'checkmate' is linked to the Persian expression 'shah mat', used when the king was trapped. That is only half the story. Computer Space reached arcades in 1971 and became one of the earliest commercial electronic arcade games, even though its controls proved demanding for many players. That gives Cat vs Unicorn a little more company than it first appears to have.
