A strange little side quest

Before the next round of Candy Era, here is a piece of the bigger picture. Space Invaders, released in 1978, helped push video games into mainstream popular culture. And then there is this: Computer Space reached arcades in 1971 and became one of the earliest commercial electronic arcade games, even though its controls proved demanding for many players. The screen is modern; the urge to test skill, pattern and timing definitely is not.
