A strange little side quest
The fun part of looking behind Brick Bash is seeing how many older ideas are still alive in modern play. Midway's Gun Fight from 1975 was the first arcade video game to use a microprocessor. And then there is this: Archery first appeared at the Olympic Games in 1900 and returned permanently to the programme in 1972 after a long absence. That long chain of experiments is part of why arcade history still feels fresh when a game finds the right twist.
