A strange little side quest

There is a neat bit of history hiding behind the kind of play you find in Bonehead. A top Formula 1 tyre stop can happen in under two seconds; McLaren set a 1.80-second pit-stop record. It also connects to a different milestone: Atari's Gran Trak 10 from 1974 is recognized as the first arcade racing video game. That long chain of experiments is part of why racing still feels fresh when a game finds the right twist.
