A strange little side quest
Bitcoin Millionaire has plenty of company in a long tradition of players chasing timing, patterns and better decisions. SimCity grew out of Will Wright's enjoyment of the map editor he had built for an earlier game; the act of shaping a city became the game itself. The surprising part is how quickly the next milestone followed. Pac-Man went on sale in 1980, and its creator Toru Iwatani famously linked the character's shape to a pizza with a slice missing. The screen is modern; the urge to test skill, pattern and timing definitely is not.
