A strange little side quest
The fun part of looking behind Baby Looney Tunes Tidy-up Time is seeing how many older ideas are still alive in modern play. Reader Rabbit's 1986 arrival was part of a major expansion of educational computer software before the CD-ROM boom of the 1990s. That is only half the story. Nintendo's Donkey Kong arrived in 1981 and introduced the character first known as Jumpman, who later became Mario. That history is one reason familiar mechanics can still feel new when they are recombined well.
