A strange little side quest
A small trivia drop for Baby At The Farm: SimCity grew out of Will Wright's enjoyment of the map editor he had built for an earlier game; the act of shaping a city became the game itself. That is only half the story. By the 1890s, department stores and mail-order catalogs were selling mass-produced ready-to-wear clothes in standardized styles and price ranges. That is the kind of background detail that makes another attempt at Baby At The Farm feel a bit more connected to the history of play.
