A strange little side quest
There is a neat bit of history hiding behind the kind of play you find in Ayla World: Avatar City. During much of the 19th century in the United States, visibly painted cosmetics became socially unacceptable even though beauty practices never disappeared. And then there is this: In 1958, Tennis for Two used an analog computer and an oscilloscope to turn simple physics into a playable tennis-like demonstration. That gives Ayla World: Avatar City a little more company than it first appears to have.
