A strange little side quest
Angry Birds Differences has plenty of company in a long tradition of players chasing timing, patterns and better decisions. The Oregon Trail eventually appeared across generations of computer hardware and sold tens of millions of copies, making it one of the most enduring educational games. The same trail leads to another fact: Pong was field-tested in California bars in 1972 and helped launch the modern arcade-game era. That long chain of experiments is part of why learning games still feels fresh when a game finds the right twist.
